Kirrawee is a large comprehensive high school with inspirational
teachers, excellent facilities and a supportive school community.
Besides very successful academic results, our achievements
in languages, music, drama, dance, leadership and sport continue
to earn state, national and international recognition. As
a specialist Languages High School we are particularly well-known
overseas. The school's popularity is marked by the fact that
about 200 out-of-area students apply for about 50 non-local
Year 7 positions each year. Our cooperative, well-behaved
and talented students are the secret of our success.
Kirrawee is a moving school, energised by students who want
to be doers rather than spectators. Our 1200 students are
invariably happy and cheerful, with heads held high and energy
radiating from active minds and bodies.
There is a buzz about
the school that makes it stand out as a place where there
are opportunities for everyone to shine. Our students support
each other, encouraging everyone to enjoy having a go. The
